Organizational Transformation
Every Infinite Possibilities Initiative is different just as every organization is different. That said, there are several common components:
First, your people and especially your leaders need to get a sense of what is fully possible. That is what energizes and unites them to take the organization to new heights. Typically it all begins with an insightful, uplifting and immensley practical educational / orientiation session(s) for your leadership team(s) and out of that the ongoing process is planned in detail.
Second, each functional unit identifies where and how self-inflicted wounds are happening and takes steps to immediately stop that from happening further. Because this is done in response to new possibilities, it's an energizing and freeing experience rather than a negative blame-throwing one. Each team learns how to integrate new solutions and practices for the higher good rather than just looking out for themselves.
Third, now that the bleeding has been stopped, we go back to identifying which 'possibility' out of the infinite number of possibilities the organization wants to become reality. Surprisingly, the failure to grow and become more profitable often results from goals set far too low. Every team learns to 'play big', tap into their full capabilities and focus their intentions on goals they never imagined were attainable. Again, reaching for exponentially higher outcomes is done in an aligned and integrated way so everyone wins.
Fourth, teams learn to deal with the reality that these new 'possibilities' seem impossible. But since 'impossible' is no longer in their lexicon they shift into a "Yes we can!" mindset. Most often what happens is that they de-engineer these astronomical possibilities down into manageable steps; surprising themselves by how 'doable' these goals actually are. Every sucess emboldens them to reach even higher.
Fifth, the organization decides which metrics are essential to tracking results. Emphasis is put on measuring what you want to see, not what you don't want to see. Organizations experience poor results often because they're looking for them.
Along the way all sorts of typical organizational issues get resolved or simply disappear. Engagement skyrockets, bureaucracy is minimized, fear dissipates, communication happens naturally. and unstoppable innovation flows from every corner of the company. At times it seems almost effortless.
Our Infinite Possibilities Initiative engagements tend to run from a few months to a couple of years depending on the complexity and culture of the organization...and the height of the goals. We work with all types of mid to large-sized companies who know they have huge potential far beyond their current level of accomplishment.
